Poor man's starter kit

I'm not sure what burners are on this buggy but I'm heading out to my Academy to check it out. Sure seems like a cheap standby until I take on my brutus build.

I bought a turkey fryer kit from Academy about a year ago specifically for HB. I think it was an Outdoor Gourmet brand kit, but I'm not positive. The kit had the aluminum pot, thermometer etc. along with a burner that met my requirements (welded legs and square, with a decent venturi and decent porting under the pot). It's held up really well and for the $45 the whole kit cost, I would do it again in a heart beat.

All-in-all, good find IMO.

Even if you had to beef it up to make it a little more sturdy it is a good deal.

It does look like it could use some beefing up. I'd hate to see 10 gallons of boiling hot liquid come crashing down! I'll have some more info after my trip to Academy. I'll bring my tape measure with me and post the specs.
