Plate chiller size for 50Gal

A bit lost with these plate chiller sizes.

Let's say I'll have to chill 50Gal (200L).
And the tap I'll have access to has a flow rate of 185Gal/h (700 liters/h) at 60°F (15°C).
What size of plate chiller should I go for (length and/or number of plates)?

How fast do you want to cool? I would suggest getting it cool in under 10 minutes.
Your tap flow rate (3gpm) is too low to cool in under 10 minutes; if you can get this faster by storing water and pumping it with a sump pump you can probably use a smaller chiller and cool faster.
Note that this is very slow, my tap water is delivered at over 30gpm. I would verify using a 5 gallon bucket and a stop watch.

The small chugger pumps can pump wort to 7gpm so wort flow shouldn't be a issue.
Using the chart provided a B3-36A 60plate can probably do it in 20 minutes.

May want to contact them and let them plug your information into whatever formulas they used to generate this chart; this way they can make a better suggestion to you.

I removed the filter that creates bubbles and measured the flow rate again.
I'm still around 3.3gpm (12.5 lpm), which is, indeed, quite slow.

I'll check the chart out.
