I decided back in November I was never buying another kit again. I had moved on to partial mash brewing and started building my own recipes. It's been a fun learning process and haven't made a bad beer yet, so I thought I'd share a few recipes.

69 IBU
Super hoppy, very dank and fruity flavors. I made it for Pre and post wedding parties we had last weekend, and it was a huge hit!

I know the IBU's seem high, but it was delicious. I was shooting for a tank 7 clone, sort of... It was close, and it convinced my wife that saisons are pretty amazing. Now she wants a rye saison after trying fulton's offering.

1oz Summit @60
1oz Simcoe @10 (although this year I could find any and was told AU Stella is a good substitute)
3oz organic basil (scored)
1oz Mosaic @5

Yeast: California Ale 001

8.5% abv
63 IBU
I was told that 1lbs of honey malt was too much, but it's only 7.5% and actually works well. We love this beer and is the 2nd year we made it.
