My kettle has a lid with a 3" tri camp on it. I was wondering if I could just pretty much put an elbow on that and vent it right out the wall without a fan. The horizontal run would be like 2ft at most before it went through the garage. I feel like this would work, after all stills push steam way farther than that, and the the 'steam slayer' type systems function in a similar way just a little shorter of a run before they hit the spray. Thoughts on if this would work or not? My lid has multiple tri clamp fittings so I could use another one for hop additions so removing the lid with it 'hard exhausted' would not be an issue. The only other real issue I could see with this is condensation dripping back into the kettle but that could easily be solved with a still rectification distilling part like this
