So I'm soon brewing an IPA for a friend's birthday, and I'm planning to soup-up a Muntons IPA Bitter. Using a website that had a range of colors, IBUs, etc for the prehopped kit, I plugged my numbers into Brewtarget, added some specialty grains and Cascade hops. I no-chill, so it might be hoppier than my numbers show, but I don't suspect that to be a problem because it seems to be pretty balanced anyway. Here it goes:

IPA (Muntons IPA Bitter plus some) - American IPA (14B)

Well this didn't work out as planned :) OG of around 1.056 (couldn't get a consistent reading, anywhere between 1.050 and 1.056). I even added 4 oz of table sugar to bring the alcohol up, and expected an OG of around 1.069. However, it tastes good. I'm going to let it sit for about 3 weeks before I bottle it all up.
