We developed this brewery over a decade ago based heavily on techniques and even items gleaned from Homebrewtalk.com - it was our foremost and best resource in an era where nano breweries were hard pressed to find solutions for brewing bigger than traditional homebrew, but smaller than commercial...
Located in the surf town of Malpais/Santa Teresa on the Pacific coast, abutting the country's first nature preserve, La Perra Hermosa Coastal Brewery is one of CR's original microbreweries, incorporated in 2009. It represents a long-shot idea turned into reality and it's now time to pass this small brewpub on to the next dreamers. We can also stay on and train you for a reasonable period of time.
Facility is roughly 6,000 SF and has a full restaurant, bar and outdoor river-front dining area. Has been great for live music and pop-up markets.
