The Queen had passed to a better place, but we're stuck here, so perhaps we should brew the Queen's Best Bitter and IPA and enjoy life while we can!
The two beers were brewed under contract at local commercial brewery and sold in the gift shop of one of the Royal estates.
The best bitter is 4.3% ABV and the IPA is 5% ABV.
Laurette Barley grown on the estate was used and the IPA has 3 varieties of hops.
That's about all the information I can find.
I'm thinking: just find a decent best bitter recipe and go for it, but there's a chance some of you blokes know something, so if you do, please pass it on.

Harveys of Sussex brewed Elizabethan ale for coronation in 53, recipe here from clone brews. I expect they used invert or more malt in Lewes rather than black treacle.
