Founded in 1995, Chicago Homebrewers’ Pride of the South Side is hosting its annual Oktoberfest with local craft beer and homebrew. A complimentary meal is served, including several types of sausage, a roast pig, side dishes and desserts. Members also receive a free tasting glass. You can be a member, too.

Bridgeport VFW Beer Garden and Hall, 3202 S. May Street, Chicago

All attendees must be 21 years of age.

I’ve been to a few of these! They are definitely worth the trip over there. The Homebrew is crazy good. The food just keeps coming! So much fun! Do not miss this one!
