I'm headed to SF from Michigan and want to try some beers from Russian River, Bruery, Blind Pig, Firestone Walker, Heretic and 21st Amendment.

1) I'm staying in The Sunset District (34th and Sunset Blvd)
2) I'll be working Downtown SF on Spear St

Obviously I can try beers at a pub/restaraunt, but are there any shops near where I'll be that any of you would recommend to pick up single bottles?

I'm flying in with just a backpack, so no bringing beer home :(

Every time I've gone there I wanted to visit Fritz Maytag's Anchor Steam Brewery but the wait list was always booked already. Best advice I can offer is reserving a place in line for a brewery tour way ahead of time.

Cellarmaker is about a mile from where you'll be working, not sure if they have bottles available, crowlers possibly?
Cellarmaker Brewing
21st Amendment is around the corner
Toronado is closer to where you'll be staying and has a bunch of choices and usually always Pliny available.
