Hey all, I’m another newbie that gained an interest for homebrewing while being stuck in quarantine.
Every year our mulberry tree bears tons of unused fruit, my sibling joked about making a wine out of it...now here we are! I’m hoping to create a lightly sweet mulberry mead.
This is my absolute first time doing this so unsurprisingly I do have a couple questions:
1. Using campden tablets to sterilize crushed fruit - do I put the fruit in the fridge while the tablets work their magic for the next 24 or so hours, or do I leave it all out?
2. Mulberry's have a very subtle flavour so I want to add them during secondary also, do I also use the campden tablets for secondary?
I think that’s about it!
