A little info about the build, the bottom shelf is just a pice of plywood. The base for the motor and the mill, is a stair tread cut into 2 pieces, glued together as well as screwed together from the bottom using a Kreg Jig. You must have a top that's flat and very rigid. The spacers under the mill were machined from 1/2” by 2.5” aluminum bar stock. The table frame came from Harbor Freight, I’ll provide the link. This is the second mill I've built using the All American Ale Works motor, it's the 180 RPM motor, these motors are by far the best mill motor I've came across. The mill is a Monster Mill MM-2 Pro with heat treated rollers and a half inch, keyed shaft.

That's a nice clean build with great pictures and all... but I love the fact that you put it together in your living room - gone are they days in my house where that might have been tolerated..

Calgary, I knew it might look that way. LOL I was building the top table at a friends house, I don't have a table saw. It was 95 degrees and 90% humidity, and it rained. That's why it was in the living room. Really all we did was bolt it together, inside.

Awesome! Looks great. I haven't started mine yet but I have an old elementary school desk I want to turn into one and you might have inspired me to get moving!
