Working on a NE IPA recipe. I was thinking of using Columbus for bittering (FWH) and then using combo of Citra/Nelson Sauvin/Sorachi Ace with 40 min whirlpool additions at .50 oz each and then again at 20 min in whirlpool. Once below 170* 1 oz of each for another 15 min.
I've lot's of experience with Cirtra and Nelson, but none with Sorachi Ace. Descriptions say "lemon" but I've seen others say "dill"
Grain bill will be typical for NE style IPA (maybe a little heavier on flaked wheat than normal: 7.6-8%) plus 1/4 lbs Honey malt. Using London Ale III (1318) at 68* and rising to promote fruity esters.
Any thoughts or recommendations on my proposed hop selection based on previous experience with Sorachi Ace. Trying to achieve a more "lemony" and wine like character than the more grapefruit/tropical.
