Well I knew the second I bought a nice digital my GF would surprise me with a Thermapen. My Loss your gain. I have for sale the Comark DT400 digital thermometer. The specs are below. I would like to get $25 shipped (cost be $32 shipped and has been used on one brew day). I really like it and it reads 32F and 212F with no problems since you can calibrate it every use in ice water. It says 6 sec response time which is a lie its more like 2-3 sec from room temp to mash temp (about 6 sec to stabilize from ice water to boiling). Offer Up!
