It's worth the 2.5 hours South on I-75 to Tampa to go to Cigar City Brewing. Then hit Swamphead in Gainesville on the way back up...

Abita in Louisiana is good too.

Could be my ignorance, but pretty sure you're out of luck after that. BTW, I made almost that same drive 2 years ago (Gainesville - OKC). Not a bad little trip at all. Get some Cajun food in Baton Rouge.

I guess it depends on what you are willing to tolerate for great beer and the great outdoors. Minor inconveniences pale in comparison. It would be better if the beer were free, mountains already are. :fro:
