Bass Pro Shop 15 Gal pot

Has anybody used this pot? http://www.basspro.com/webapp/wcs/s...0216561_750006003_750000000_750006000_750-6-3 saw it at the BPS here in Mesa, Az. Looks like a pretty good brew pot and the spigot would be handy. Opinions?

Hmmm that looks pretty cool. There are advantages and disadvantages of aluminum of course but I say go for it.

you can get large aluminum stockpots for a little less at a restaurant supply shop. I think I paid $80 for a 68 quart aluminum pot that's about 3/16" thick.

You can definitely do better at a restaurant supply. For example this 80qt pot for $76

Thanks for the links. Not sure its a better deal though. $25 shipping puts it at $101 and I still need to buy a fitting for it. Nice pot though.

May go back to the Bass Pro Shop and check out the pot again. Probably should just wait until I can find a keg. I'm on my 3rd pot and have only been brewing since April
