Help....After seven days my specific gravity is 1.020. I took a reading and then with those results put the lid back on and the airlock is now popping again. What do i do?

Welcome!
You may have stirred up a little yeast to get your fermentation going again when you took your sample. It looks like you may have needed to drop of few points. How did your beer taste?

OTOH, it could just be CO2 coming out. That's ok too.

Easy answer: Leave it be...

It just needs a few more days to bring down the FG to where you want it...

What temp is it at?

I didnt taste it but it smells and looks like beer. and the batch is in the house which is always between 72 and 74 degrees never below or above the entire time. I will leave it sit for a few more days i really appreciate the help guys. This is a brutal waiting game but i think the payoff is going to be great. I got my second batch ready to go after this turns out ok.

Always taste your samples! It's a home brewing rule.
