Bought too much LME

Recalculated partial mash recipe after buying ingredients and decided I have an extra pound of LME. Since its bulk, I'll probably end up throwing it out on brew day UNLESS someone has an idea for keeping/using it.
 
Make a starter. Split it, use part of it for your batch, then save the other part to make another starter. Lather, rinse, repeat.

You won't waste the money on the pound of LME, and you'll save money on yeast for future batches.
 
Seal container and store in fridge until needed.

OR ............ Add to current brew. It will increase OG by .007 in 5 gallons. Not really a terrible problem to have.
