I love that "orange-ish" color that certain beers have. So far all the apa's and ipa's iv'e made have that light brownish color. I'd like to make an ipa with that "orange" color to it so what grain or grains is it that will give me this.
What in the grain bill gives beers that orange color

Munich II grain will impart an orangey-amber hue to your beer in sufficient quantities.

There are a number of grains that would do that. Special roast is one.

When you enter your recipe into a calculator, you are looking for a SRM between 10L and 17L. Darker than 17L is going to be moving into browns and blacks. Lighter than 10L is going to be moving into golds and straws.
I made a simple beer 7 pounds 2-row and 1 pound of carared. It calculates to 4 SRM. It's orange.
