I'm going to brew an extract straight lambic tomorrow. 4 pounds of light dme and 3 pounds of wheat dme.

I'm using same aged hops. Since I'm not going for hop utilization rather the preservative power, can I just boil for 15 minutes? I'm also thinking about not doing a full volume boil since it's easier to chill. I know a beer that takes a year probably deserves more attention but I've got a limited window tomorrow and looking for a quick brew day.

Advice?

You should be fine. I did an extract Lambic last year, and I think I only boiled for 15 minutes. Enough time to get thru the boil and some isomerization from the hops.

It sure makes for a quick brew not mashing. Since the yeast and the bugs are the star of this beer, I suspect the difference between AG and a quick extract will be un-noticeable.
