I'm headed up to Indianapolis tomorrow through Saturday for a trade show and was hoping to check out some local beer spots while I'm in town. What's worth checking out?? I'll be pretty busy during the day but Thurs and Fri night are open to suggestion. I'll be in the area of the convention center.

Thanks in advance :tank:

Broad Ripple brew pub was good. The area is cool too.

Flat 12 Bierwerks was cool and had an awesome black IPA.

I don't think we went there, but Triton, Upland and Sun King all make decent beers.

If you're looking for micros there is Sun King, Fountain Square brewing, Flat 12 and Bier Brewery to name a few. There are also several brewpubs/tap rooms that serve beers from many of the in state breweries.

A distant family friend owns Black Acre Brewing. Never been but I've only heard good things about their beer.

Thanks! Black acre ended up being only 3 mi from my hotel. Posting from there now enjoying their double black IPA.
