Here's the setup.

I have an IPA going into the Keg on Friday on Nottingham as well as a Belgian-ish Strong Ale on T-58. I have a ton of hops in the freezer I've been trying to work my way through, so I thought I would brew back-to-back batches of an IPA and a Belgian IPA, using the same hop schedule and dump them on the cakes as an experiment. Oh, and I'll use only Australia/NZ Hops that I've never used before.

Here are the recipes. OG is around 1.06 on each and IBU are around 60. Tried to balance out all the numbers so things were roughly the same.

Belgian IPA on T-58 Cake

Pilsner 11 lb
Belgian Wheat 10 oz
Munich 12 oz
Special B 2 oz
Aromatic 6 oz
Sugar 8 oz

Galaxy 1 oz 60 13.0%
Motueka 0.5 30 8.6%
Motueka 0.5 5 8.6%
Galaxy 0.5 5 13.0%

Dry Hop Moteuka 1 oz, Galaxy .5 oz

IPA on Nottingham Cake (think the grain bill was based off a DFH60 clone). I have a sack of MO open, which is why I'm using that.

Marris Otter 11 lb
Amber 6 oz

Galaxy 1 oz 60 13.0%
Motueka 0.5 30 8.6%
Motueka 0.5 5 8.6%
Galaxy 0.5 5 13.0%

Dry Hop Moteuka 1 oz, Galaxy .5 oz

So, thoughts? What shall the results be?
