Default Lager in the Fridge?

I want to make a lager, but I do not have anything that will stay at around 50F. My apartment is around 75F, and my fridge is about 35F. Is there anyway I can do it in my fridge?

Is this fridge your only fridge? In other words, do you keep your milk, eggs, meat, etc. in it, and does it reside in your kitchen? If so...then no, you can't use it unless you want your food to spoil. If not...and this is an extra fridge that can be converted...

Then get one of these and you can regulate your temps very easily.

That's too cold for primary fermentation of a lager (but it would be pretty good for the lagering/conditioning phase). Some people have had success using ice baths to provide an environment of around 50°-55° degrees for primary fermentation; get some soda bottles, fill them with water, freeze them, and swap them out fairly regularly.
