I basically only brew IPA's, but SWMBO would like something with a hint of fruit. I plan on making a DFH Aprihop clone at some point, but for now I'm just using the hops I have on hand. Here's the recipe I'm planning on. Any fruit suggestions are welcomed.

5 Gallon Batch

Grain Bill

11# 2 Row Pale Malt
1 # Caramel 40L
.5 # Carapils

Hop Schedule:

60 min 2 oz Columbus
10 min ½ oz Cascade
10 min ½ oz Columbus
5 min ½ oz Cascade
5 min ½ oz Columbus
Flameout 1 oz Cascade
Flameout 1 oz Columbus
Dry hop 2 oz Cascade

6.5% ABV
127 IBU

Use WLP029 Kolsch yeast and ferment it warm, like 67F.

You'll get a wonderful peachy stone-fruit flavor that blends very well with Cascade hops.

I know I don't necessarily have the best combination of grains and hops to do this. Was just wondering if there was a viable option. If there's not, then I wont add fruit. My preferences take precedence over SWMBO since I will be drinking the majority of it.

Stone just ran a homebrew contest and the winner was a pineapple IPA.

I've never been big on fruit in my beer, until I had a grapefruit IPA and I quickly changed my tune. It was quite tasty and I think that pineapple would be interesting to try as well.
