My first couple of batches didn't carbonate well and I decided to see if I couldn't keep from wasting it. Came up with:
I'm sure this isn't new to Y'all but I found another use for it.
I have a barleywine fermenting, currently 1.030. I tasted the hydro sample and it's quite good albeit a little sweet. I wondered what it would taste like if fermentation stalled at this gravity and the bulb went off in my head.
I'll just carbonate the sample to see. Poured into a plastic bottle, hit it with CO2 and it's now in my refer growing bubbles. Cool, Eh?
