Please feel free to beat me up if I missed the worlds largest pectin thread on the front page.
I am just curious where you guys get your pectin. Where is the cheapest place to get it?

Edit: Pectin Enzyme for clearing cider.

This is kinda confusing. Pectin you can find at any grocery store, you add it to making jam. Generally in brewing we was to prevent or remove pectin from things, for that we get it at our homebrewshops. You can order it online from any homebrwing/winemaking shops.

One other thing. It says add 1/2 teaspoon per gallon of juice. Is that the amount you guys use?

It depends on what I'm making. Wine made from juices might get 1/2 teaspoon per gallon, but wine made from grapes gets 1 teaspoon per gallon (about 6 pounds grapes).
