has anyone used branded beer bottles as tap handles? my kegerator holds 4 5gal so i'll frequent have 1 or 2 commercials going along with my homebrew. i've got official tap handles for some brands but they can be a bit pricey sometimes. if i'm just trying a particular commerical for a 1 time kinda thing i was thinking it might be nice to just use one of their regular branded 12oz bottles as a tap handle.

my idea is to slice a 2" wood dowel into a disc
paint it
attach the tap thread
then just use silicone or epoxy to attach the bottle to the disc

if anyone's done something similar it'd be great to see pics. suggestions also welcome. Thanks!
