I saw a thread about this a while ago and was wondering if anyone had success with it. I heard Sam Adams even had one, but I can't find evidence of that. Sounds interesting. Looking for a PM or extract version.....

I had the Sam Adams root beer ale and it was awful. It was 1 of 4 pretty horrible beers in a special pack they did about a year ago.

EDIT: Here's the link to rate beer http://www.ratebeer.com/beer/samuel-...er-brew/60406/
