Just purchased 2 - 24V Standing Pilot Gas Valves (Honeywell VR8200A2132) for my new natural gas brew stand build today. I also purchased a transformer. My next step is to buy temperature controls. Does any one have any recommendations on what controls to get? Will the Love WU-93520-00 Economical temperature controller, 110 VAC work in this application if the transformer is wired after the controller?

Sorry to resurrect an old thread, but did you ever find the answer? I'm dealing with the same situation. Thanks in advance.

Yes you can use a 24VAC transformer wired through the NO and C connections on the relay output. Look at the Dwyer "TS" series temperature switches as a lower cost source for the same product.

Thanks! I ended up getting my contollers from auber instruments. Haven't got them in yet, but they are almost 1/2 the price of the Dwyer and Love controllers. I hope they work as well. From their spec sheets, it appears that they should.
