Default Please review my APA recipe

So this is my first recipe I have made completely on my own, after about 6 AG batches under my belt. So, please bare with me lol. Thanks. Here it goes:

American Pale Ale

Recipe Specs:

Batch Size: 5.5 Gallons
Boil Size: 6.5. Gallons
Original Gravity: 1.059
Final Gravity: 1.012
ABV: 6.2%
Yeast: Safale US-05
Yeast Starter: No
Estimated Color: 8 HCU (∼6 SRM)
Primary Fermentation: 10 days
Secondary Fermentation: 14 days
Estimated IBU: 48
Efficiency: 75%
Boil Time: 60 min.

Ingredients:

10 lbs. American 2-Row (Pale)
1 lb. American Crystal 20L
1lb. Cara-Pills
4 oz. Honey Malt
.5 oz. Chinook (12% AA) 60 min.
.5 oz Chinook (12% AA) 45 min.
.5 oz. Cascade (6% AA) 30 min.
.5 oz Cascade (6% AA) 15 min.
.5 oz Cascade (6% AA) 5 min.
.5 oz. Cascade (6% AA) 0 min.
2 oz. Amarillo (8% AA) dry hop


Mash Schedule:

Mash: 4.5 gallons for 60 min. @ 153 F
Batch Sparge: 3.3 gallons for 5 min. @ 170 F

In my opinion, 1lb of cara-pils is way too high with 1lb of crystal. You could probably get rid of it completely...

I'd move your 0.5 oz 45 addition to 60 (so 1oz @ 60), and your 0.5 oz 30 addition to 15 (so, 1oz @ 15).

I just prefer a 60/15/5/0 schedule for my APA's generally.

Looks good. Chinook/Cascade make a good combo

Thanks for the suggestion. I'll scratch the cara-pills and make the adjustments to the hop schedule. Hopefully it will turn out pretty good.
