Just did my first all grain batch. Did brew in a bag technique. Didn't go as smooth as i hoped. Bag was too small for kettle and temp was hard to maintain but next batch I'll be better prepared.

Here's the recipe. It's a Charlie Papazian recipe from The Joy of Homebrewing, pg. 301, R U Kidding Me? Pils. The hops aren't the same because my brew shop didn't have Hallertau or American Crystal. My O.G. was 1.051

Ingredients:

8.50 lb Pilsner (2 Row) Ger (2.0 SRM) Grain 94.44 %
0.50 lb Aromatic Malt (26.0 SRM) Grain 5.56 %
1.50 oz Mt. Hood [5.50 %] (60 min) Hops 29.1 IBU
0.50 oz Strisslespalt [2.60 %] (Dry Hop 3 days) Hops -
0.50 oz Liberty [4.30 %] (30 min) Hops 5.8 IBU
0.50 oz Strisslespalt [2.60 %] (1 min) Hops 0.2 IBU
0.26 tsp Irish Moss (Boil 10.0 min) Misc
1 Pkgs Czech Pilsner Lager (Wyeast Labs #2278) [Starter 1500 ml] Yeast-Lager
