I'm currently making a mash tun out of a 10 gallon square cooler. I'm using copper tubing (1/2 in) and am making the standard square assembly inside. My concern is that the weight of the grain will weigh down the far end (away from the spigot), which will affect the flow from that end. Should I brace that end up with anything, or will the shallow slope not affect it much?

The manifold should sit flat on the bottom and then neck up to your outlet. The head pressure will force teh liquid up and out, then as you get near the bottom, siphon will keep it going.

I can't find the link quick here at work to show you an example, but i know someone will know where it is
