Was reading an article about different types of plastics last night and interested to see what my buckets were made out of. HDPE - nice. I own 6-8 buckets that used to be Fedex overpack bucket that are 10.5 gallon with sealing lids. I haven't used any since early fall as i have been doing 2.5-4 gallon stovetop batches since and fermenting in carboys. Went to pick one up and inside found 3.25 lbs of wheat malt, 5-6 lbs of 2 row and looks to be about 1 lb of crystal 60. i guess i was planning on making a Hop Sun clone one day and didn't get to it, and there she sat for a few months. Since it was sealed, the grain is still nice and crispy. I guess I will put it to use this weekend (even though I now have ~100lbs 2row and 25lbs wheat around at the moment)!! Good brewing to all this weekend!! :ban::ban:
