Mason jars are designed to hold vacuum not pressure so no, it would not be smart. :) Your beer would just end up flat since the lids will release the pressure that builds up. Some of them may carbonate but do you really want to risk all your hard work? You can use 2L pop bottles if you really want to save time bottling.
 
They're also not designed to hold pressure at all... who knows how much they could stand (that is, if they hold ANY) before they pop?
