Grains/Extract:

6 oz. chocolate
6 oz. carafa dehusked
8 oz. melanoidin
8 oz. carahelles (30-40 L)
4 oz. toasted barley

8 oz. maltodextrin

6.6 lbs. Northwestern Gold LME
1 lb. light DME

Hops:

1 oz. Galena 60 min.
1 oz. Cascade 30 min.
1 oz. Tettnang aroma

Steep grains in 2 gal. water for 30 mins. at 158 F. Sparge with 1/2 gal. at 170 deg. Bring to boil, then remove from heat and add extracts and maltodextrin. Add hops according to schedule. Cool wort to pitching temperature and add Wyeast 1084 Irish Ale Yeast.
 
UPDATE: This beer won first place as a Robust Porter in the English Browns and Porters category of the HOPS BOPS 2007 competition in Philadelphia!
 
My girlfriend's name is Kim, so i kinda feel obligated to brew this now.
 
Go for it, vav. I named this brew after my sweet but slightly evil wife. And my buddy and I have now done a beer for his girlfriend too. They're very proud and protective of their beers.
