Finished gravity not finishing.

This is my second batch that after a week, i'm way off on my finished gravity. The last batch i did was about 6-8 points off. It was supposed to be between FG 1.012-1.014 and it ended up to be 1.020 after 3 consecutive days. Same with this current batch. It's been eight days in the primary and i'm off by 8 points. The airlock is still bubbling. I have no problem leaving in for another week or so. Everybody seems to be racking into there secondary after a week..Why not me??

What yeast and temperatures are we talking about here?

I dont have this batch in a waterbath, just in room temp. About 67-70F.
The yeast is Abbey Ale Yeast WLP530.

I assume the yeast is fresh? Did you make a starter? What was the OG and pitching temps?

Try swirling (not shaking) the fermenter to rouse the yeast. Sometimes yeast will flocculate early.
