Our family is taking a trip to Vegas and then to Phoneix. I am wondering if anyone has a few brew pubs we could check out.

Main Street Station ( Casino/Hotel ) has a brew pub. It is okay. If you go there check out the buffet first and then then the brew pub. They are located downtown.

There is a Gordon Biersch on Paradise.

Hofbrau Haus also on Paradise, but a bit aways from Biersch, is lots of fun.

But Yardhouse sounds great!

Skip Yardhouse.

It is a chain and not that great.

If you want a better place off-strip in Vegas to visit with a fantastic selection try Freakin' Frog. If you're up for something akin to Oktoberfest, try Hofbrauhaus. If you want someplace on the Strip that has a good beer selection, good food, and knowledgeable bartenders, Burger Bar at Mandalay Bay is a good choice.

The best brewpub in town is the Draft House on N. Rancho Dr. Good selection and great beer. There is the Tenaya Creek Brewpub on N. Tenaya Dr. Chicago Brewing Co. on Ft. Apache Rd. (they also have an outlet at the Four Queens downtown). If you're downtown try the brewpub at the Main Street Station. While not a brewpub, the Hofbrauhaus on Paradise Rd. is fun. The beer is imported fresh from Munich and is excellent (kind of pricey though).
If you can, do try to check out the Draft House. I think you'll like it.

If you like good times go to Hofbrauhaus, it's a riot. The beer was good when I was there.

If you're on the strip, Nine Fine Irish Men at New York New York. I think it's just a bar?

There was a small bar up on the upper level of New York, New York that had a decent beer selection, but I recall it wasn't exactly cheap.

I saw that Hofbrau building on the way out of town and was disappointed I didn't know about it before.

For Las Vegas:
Chicago Brewing Co is probably my favorite also. BJs has some of their own decent brews and lots of others on the menu for pretty good prices, plus their food is good too. Main Street Station is decent. There is also Barley's and Gordon Biersch. Yard House is cool 'cause they have a very wide selection of beers. They have something like 130 different beers on tap, but they do not brew their own.

Haufbrauhaus is a very fun place to go and they have some good beer too!!! Definitely go there!

x2

Chicago was probably my favorite when living there. Barley's wasnt bad, Gordon is meh, but decent.

I've heard Tenaya is right up there with Chicago.

Sin City sucks.. i wouldnt even waste my time.

Yardhouse is cool, even if they dont brew. Tons of good taps and great food.

Rosemary's is the probably the best restaurant in Vegas, i.e. voted such by locals, and has a strong beer selection (bunch of Belgians). I highly recommend it. 497 reviews on google maps and 4.5 stars. Not bad...

I'm missing Vegas. My last trip sucked because I was sick the whole time and wished I had stayed home. But I sense one in my future!
