autosiphon and whole hops

hi!
I've recently bought an autosiphon. In my next batch i will use only whole hops, and a lot of them in hopstanding so i'd like not use hopbag to have the most powerful hop aroma possible. Have you ever experienced clogged autosiphon with whole hops transferring wort from the kettle to the fermenter?
have I to use some precautions or does it work without any problem?

For me, whole hops and an autosiphon created a nightmare until I started using a hop bag covering the end of the siphon, using it as a mesh strainer.
 
I too use a bag on the end of my auto siphon. Typically it's one of the small paint filter types from HD and I use a plastic tie strip to hold it on but make sure the bag is loose around the end of the siphon or the bag will clog as well. Works like a charm to keep those whole hop bits out of the fermenter.
