Getting ready to do my first 12 gallon full boil on sat.:rockin: Been doing 3 gall boils on stove for awhile now. I have the keggle & all the fittings are in place. After the ball valve on bottom of kettle I have a 6" brass nipple to attach the march pump & then plate chiller to fermenter. Aside from normal sanitation, anything I should expect when using this for the first time? I never used a pump or plate chiller before. I might do a test run today with hot water just to see how fast it will flow from pump though plate chiller to fermenter. Any advice or heads up, would be appreciated.
