I have transferred beer from keg to keg, under pressure, many times.

However, the sending keg has always been cold.

Does anybody ever transfer beer from a warm keg? I wonder if there would be foaming problems?

Found this thread today as I was looking for info on transfering from a warm keg. Not sure it will be much help this late but I transfered warm about 10 days ago and had a real problem with foaming. Lost about a gal of the beer I was transfering to foam. Then I had to re-carb because with the foam came the carb. I basicly spaced out cooling down the transfering keg but I am sure that I will never forget again!!! Just as an added note, I cooled off three more kegs two days later and transfered them with absolutely no problem.

Might be worth relating your keg-to-keg setup, because a counter pressure setup could have prevented a major foaming problem during the transfer...

Cheers!
