No ice here. I know they're biting deep now, but I took my boat off the lake for winter. Probably put it back in come February.

We fish almost every day in the spring and summer here, and in Texas in February and March. I'm usually the photographer, so I'm not in many of them.

These are in Texas:

Nice Red Fish. My Goal it to hit SaltWater with Flyrod this year.

These are from our lake at home:
(Bob actually took a fish I caught, and had his picture taken with it, as I"m camera shy. That IS me sticking my face up behind my brother-in-law, though!)

Jealous. Take me!!

I got really lucky with that trip. My Army buddy switched to the Coast Guard and was stationed on Kodiak Island for 3 years. I spent 10 days there for the price of a plane ticket and a fishing license. He's in Alabama now though, so guess where I'll be next? ;)

Where in the Adirondacks I live in ny .

Those are from the Schroon Lake area, up in the mountains west of town. I can't remember the name of the wilderness area. My cousin has a cabin there, but my friends and I (and my dog) were camping a few miles from the cabin.

1. Orange County, NY
2. New York Harbor
3. Near the Barnegat Lighthouse, NJ
4. Staten Island (yes, there's a TON of fishing in the middle of NYC)
5. ORange County, NY

Trout you mean? :D

Dammit! It looked like trout actually but its a 1/2" square on my phone screen. I figured it looked like lake fishing so I took the risk, so much for capping on you :/

Excuse the photoshop. I cherish my interwebs anonymity.

I prosted the pictures with pops (Reelale and Yooper). I love fishing with my father. You can barely see his head in the picture I'm wearing the Yankees shirt in.

Yep. Cherish the time you spend with your dad. We could argue and fight like cats and dogs all the way to the lake. Once on the water, it was like we were best buddies. I miss him.

We could argue and fight like cats and dogs all the way to the lake.

For some reason, its hunting for us that brings out the fighting. The two of us and my cousin had an awesome rumble the whole way home this year! Fishing is usually just me and him so everything goes smoothly.

I'm very lucky that my parents had me really young. My father is only 53. He is still able to play in our Turkey Bowl every year.

Here are a couple pics from 2009 on Lake St. Clair.

Haven't had much opportunity to do much freshwater fishing the past 8 years or so, but here are some great pics from some vacation trips to Puerto Vallarta this past January (first 3 pics when we hit the roosters and had 5 of em between 35-45 pounds and a nice grouper), one of the 6 35+ pound Mahi we landed in Cabo in 2004 (along with 1 sail and 2 nice blue marlin we released at the boat), and 2010 Costa Rican Mahi Mahi.

And a 2001 pic of a grayling from a fly-in trip to SW Nanavut. And a pic of a peacock from a quick trip into the canals around Miami in 2005.

Wow aren't you like 38 or something, making your pops 15 when you were born?

38?!?

I'm a 33 year old TROUT fisherman, not a 38 year old BASS fisherman.

You been drinking buddy? ;)

I swore you mentioned that number awhile back... not to worry. You look like you're 16 ;)

Nice pictures everyone.

One of the many browns I caught this summer on my local stream. Flyfishing...

I'm a professional offshore sailor. This is coming back from a race to Montego Bay a few years ago. With not much else on board but freezed dried and whatever we could pick up in Jamaica, this was probably the best mahi I have ever eaten.
