Well after my hour mash, I went to open the MLT valve as usual and all I got was grain husks. I stirred it around a bit inside the tun with my spoon to find out what was up and BOOM my braid was off completely! So after painstakingly re-attaching it in 152F wort it started to flow (after a few blows on the hosing to remove any other grain clogs). Im not too worried about efficiency or anything because its really not going o hurt for mash to be a little long, BUT, a small handful of grain got into my brew kettle and stayed their for the duration of the boil. As you may suspect its pretty hard to snag them once the boil is rolling. Am I going to get tannins that will fudge up my beer because of this??

I wouldnt worry about it, im sure some people who brew outside have had worse things fall into their boil:D
