Tsunami - California - photos

SWMBO and I were woke up at 7AM Friday with the Robo-call that said it was time to hit-the-bricks since there was a Tsunami warning. Looks like no walking the dogs on the beach today!

Our house is 100' above sea level so no worries and two hours later (9:30AM) we see the ocean retreat - beyond what is normal for tidal conditions. Then, 5 minutes later it comes wayy back in!

Cool to see on a minor scale, but my thoughts go out to the Japanese. I lived there for awhile and hate to see them go through this.
