Amazon's SSR+Temp Controller

I was just wondering if anyone tried this combo, there is no temp probe and this is not an auber or at least I didn't think it is.

Looks like the my pin ta4-snr pid or similar. The ta4 model does not have a manual mode to pwm power to element during boil.

Many people use these. Documentation isn't as good as auberins pid.

Thanks, I don't want to risk the whole setup for $30.
