Hey all,

I'm just curious, what amount of temperature swing is OK - and at what point should I be concerned?

Reason being, I have a Ranco Stage 2 with settings 67/2 cooling and 66/1 heating, for a swing of 69-65. I'm gone all day so it is hard to directly monitor, however I'm curious will the thermal mass fluctuate that much?
If so, if it shifts between 69-66 thoughout the course of a day - is that ok?

I should note my probe is insulated to the side of my bucket.

That temp swing is barely any and probably isn't noticeable within the bucket.

Agreed, that's a pretty narrow range. I worry when my yeast gets +/- 3 degrees outside of its ideal temperature range. Anything inside of the range, even if it fluctuates up and down a couple of degrees throughout the day, is fine.
