I've been looking through the recipe section and noticing # signs in some of them, as in:

3# carapils
.2# patent

whats the # sign for?!

Also, going to brew my second batch soon, and suggestions on a good recipe? I want to brew a bitter or brown ale, or any great fall/cool weather beer, using a good extract/specialty grain recipe.

No offense but that made me LOL!!!!

Ironically enough it is called the POUND sign.

you know, i should have put that together.... I have sat through enough automated machines on the phone telling me to hit the # sign
