Just cracked open a Lefse Blond Extract Kit from Northern Brewer:

I just had to share how awesome the beer came out. This will be a great spring / summer beer since it is lighter but certainly not lacking in flavor. Its a little peppery, a little fruity, and seriously smooth to the taste.
I used Safbrew T-58 Ale Yeast:

with Muton KreamyX Priming Agent:
http://www.northernbrewer.com/brewi...ng-sugars/munton-s-kreamyx-priming-agent.html
The yeast took off within hours of pitching directly without rehydrating at all and gave off an awful sulfur like smell for days. The fermentation was rapid and quick, seeming to stop only after 4 days or so.
2 weeks in the primary, 2 weeks in the secondary, 3 in the bottle and this beer is great!
