The other day, I made N.Y. strips on my new "Tuscan" grill in the wfo. At 800 degrees, it only takes a few minutes for medium well. Full of smokey juicy goodness, and so much tastier than a gas grill.

The steaks look great and the oven itself is a work of art. What else have you cooked in so far?
 
nice, sir, and nice looking too. i have to start looking at plans for this now :D . i'm in texas, and we love grilling, and competition, so if we can cook better than the neighbors...
 
Been wanting to build something like that, how much do you estimate was the cost to build it? Very nice.
 
I haven't tallied up the receipts yet, but I'm probably into it for at least $2500. To build the bare oven was about $1000.
