Hey everybody. . .
I want to brew a beer with papaya added during the last few minutes of the boil. Can anyone tell me a good recipe to add this to? I was thinking about a pale ale, but anything that would taste better is welcomed. My LHBS has a great grain selection, and i'm going to do an extract + steeping grains.

Fruit beers are best suited with a lighter profile beer for my apricot beer i use 8 lb of 2 row .5 lb crystal 20 an oz of cascade at 60 min. I think that would be a good base beer to play with

cheers

normally you don't boil the fruit for a fruit beer. you add it late in primary, or in secondary.

boiling fruit is going to give you hazy/cloudy beer for sure, and really doesn't extract the fruit flavors moreso than just adding in secondary.
