I'm just beginning to plan out a three tier or single tier design...currently I use a 70 qt coleman xtreme as a mash tun. Which would be a better set-up, 2 keggles (HLT & boil keggle) with the 70 qt xtreme mash tun or 3 keggles (HLT, boil keggle & MLT)? I'm picking up two keggles and wonder if I should go with a third...thanks

I guess that depends if you are planning on recirculating your wort. I'm guessing not because you are thinking of a three tier design which utilizes gravity. If you don't have a pump and dont want to go for a HERMS or RIMS setup then I would go with one keggle for a BK, one for a HLT and a cooler for a MLT.
