It's just a sitting around the house kind of day and even though I brewed last night I want to brew something up. Out of all the assorted ingredients I have in my closet I'm going with:

11# of Gambrinus EBS (already crushed and getting rather old)
1/2# Crystal 60
1/4# Chocolate

Magnum for bittering. Willamette, Cascade for late additions and Saphir at flameout.

No propane just an electric range. No mash tun either.

2 kettles going simultaneous BIAB style.

Will I get delicious beer or just a messy kitchen?

Will I finish and clean up before my fiancee gets home and murders me (guests coming to the house tonight)?

I'll post updates.

I don't see you getting done before the guests arrive, but they might like what you are doing, especially if you have ready samples of earlier editions.

So it's 1:03pm and the 2 kettles are almost up to a boil.

I collected 19.25 L of wort that measured 1.026 @ 176 F which I'm calling 1.054 for the pre boil gravity. MUCH better than expected. I've never attempted BIAB before let alone 2 at once. Anyone willing to check my math? I have hops to add!
